Abstract (en)

Method and device for stacking sheets of material having repetitive patterns while respecting the superposition of the said patterns from one sheet lap to the next, comprising a principal carriage which is movable longitudinally relative to the cutting table and a light conveyor belt whose width is at least equal to that of the laps, characterised in that the said carriage consists of two separable movable members, one (3) of which is motorised and carries a view-taking device (4) used to record the optimised arrangement of all the pieces to be cut, and the other (6) of which is pulled and comprises a transverse clamping device (12) intended to engage the free end of the laps, the said pulled member (6) being coupled in its rear part to the said light conveyor belt (7) intended to support and to protect the patterned sheet lap while it is conveyed. <IMAGE>
