Abstract (en)
In a casing (1) constituting the second pressure-reduction stage (26)(27), the valve-carrying piston (26) is controlled by an extension rod (28) (16) at the end of which is articulated the control lever (11) which is slaved (at 12) to the position of the diaphragm (4). <??>By moving this lever (11) and its articulation on the rod (16-28) away from the pressure-reduction valve (26, 27), any risk of ice formation owing to the frigorific energy generated in the region of the pressure reduction, when the diver is swimming in very cold water. <IMAGE>
