[origin: WO8905026A1] The invention concerns the process for manufacturing a device for generating shock waves which are felt only slightly, if at all, by patients. Said device comprises a truncated ellipsoidal reflector (12) having a (b)/(a) ratio > 0.60, preferably between 0.60 and 0.85, and a connection (14) for connecting the electrodes (6, 8) to an electric current source comprising a condensor (18) having a capacitance less than or equal to 500 nanofarads. The energy density of the emitted shock waves is thereby reduced at the level of the skin. Patients feel said waves only slightly, if at all, and can even be traited without anaesthesia.

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un dispositif de génération d'ondes de choc qui sont peu ou pas sensibles par les patients. Ce dispositif de génération d'ondes de choc comprend un réflecteur ellipsoïdal tronqué (12) présentant un rapport (b)/(a) > 0,60, de préférence compris entre 0,60 et 0,85 et une connectique (14) d'alimentation en courant électrique des électrodes (6, 8) comprenant un condensateur (18) qui présente une capacitance inférieure ou égale à 500 nanofarads. On obtient ainsi une densité d'énergie réduite au niveau cutané des ondes de choc émises qui sont peu ou pas sensibles par les patients en permettant un traitement sans anesthésie.
