In a process and arrangement for producing an impervious and flexible tubular press shell, a liquid plastics mixture is poured over an endless, porous reinforcing belt 10 which runs over two mutually parallel rollers 27, 28. Immediately downstream of the point where the pouring jet strikes the reinforcing belt, a suction nozzle 12 is located on the underside thereof. By adjusting the vacuum in this suction nozzle 12, the depth of penetration of the liquid plastics mixture into the porous reinforcing belt can be determined. <IMAGE>

Verfahren und Vorrichtung zur Herstellung eines undurchlässigen und biegsamen schlauchförmigen Preßmantels, bei dem man aus ein endloses, poröses Armierungsband 10, das über zwei zueinander parallele Walzen 27, 28 umläuft, eine flüssige Kunststoff-Mischung aufgießt. Unmittelbar hinter der Stelle, wo der Gießstrahl auf das Armierungsband auftrifft, ist an der Unterseite desselben eine Saugdüse 12 angeordnet. Durch Einstellen des Unterdruckes in dieser Saugdüse 12 kann bestimmt werden, wie weit die flüssige Kunststoff-Mischung in das poröse Armierungsband eindringt.
