Abstract (en)
A pressbelt for a press arrangement serving for dewatering a paper web consists of a plastics layer and of a reinforcement embedded therein. As viewed in cross-section, the width of the pressbelt is subdivided into a central press zone, the width of which it equal to that of the paper web, and into two lateral edge zones. The reinforcement is uniform over the entire width of the pressbelt. In the region of the press zone, the plastics layer has a higher hardness than in the two edge zones. <IMAGE>

Pressband für eine Presseinrichtung, die zum Entwässern einer Papierbahn dient, bestehend aus einer Kunststoff-Schicht und aus einer darin eingebetteten Armierung. Im Querschnitt gesehen ist die Breite des Pressbandes unterteilt in eine mittlere Presszone, deren Breite gleich der papierbahn-Breite ist, und in zwei seitliche randzonen. Die Armierung ist über die gesamte Breite des Pressbandes einheitlich. Die Kunststoffschicht hat im Bereich der Presszone eine höhere Härte als in den beiden Randzonen.
