[origin: EP0389760A2] The children's safety guard is for electric cookers. It comprises a U-shaped, horizontal hinged frame (10) which surrounds the rectangular cooking area (12) containing the cooking plates. At its free ends (11, 11'), it is mounted pivotably upwards about aligned horizontal pins (14, 14').
