In a device for separating non-magnetisable metals, in particular non-ferrous metals, from a mixture of solids with an alternating magnetic field generator (6) and with a dividing plate (25) which projects between the trajectory parabolas (15, 19) of the ejected non-ferrous metal flow on the one hand and of the flow of other solid mixture on the other, the separation of particularly small and/or lightweight, planar components out of the mixture is improved if the dividing plate (25) ends with its upper edge (17) near to the material ejection area (13) in the ejection sector (11). <IMAGE>

Bei einer Vorrichtung zum Abtrennen von nichtmagnetisierbaren Metallen, insbesondere Nichteisen-Metallen, aus einem Feststoffgemisch mit einem Wechselmagnetfelderzeuger (6) und mit einem Scheitelblech (25), welches zwischen die Wurfparabeln (15, 19) des ausgelenkten Nichteisen-Metallstromes einerseits und des Stroms des übrigen Feststoffgemisches andererseits ragt, wird das Abtrennen insbesondere kleiner und/oder leichter, flächiger Bestandteile aus dem Gemisch verbessert, wenn das Scheitelblech (25) mit seiner Oberkante (17) nahe dem Materialabwurfbereich (13) im Abwurfsektor (11) endet.
