[origin: EP0389777A1] In a manifold block (10) for control devices operated by pressure medium, which manifold block (10) consists of several intermediate plates (11) and end plates (12, 13), the working passages (20, 21) are formed as continuous bores transversely to the axial direction in the intermediate plates (11). The working passages (20, 21) are connected to the respective longitudinal slot of a standardised hole pattern (15) by means of transverse bores (22, 23). It is thereby possible to greatly reduce the overall size so that, with a uniform amount of space required, several intermediate plates (11) can be arranged one above the other. Furthermore, additional inflow passages (18a) and return passages (17a, 19a) can also be additionally formed from the underside of the intermediate plate, as a result of which it is possible here to connect the intermediate plates (11) from various directions. If there are dividing walls designed as seals (33), the attached control devices can consequently be controlled with different pressures. <IMAGE>
