In order to be able to indicate clearly to the user the capacity level of the power supply cells and point out the need for recharging or changing the cells, according to the invention the capacity indicator of the electrical shaving apparatus (1) is designed as a digital display area (2). The digital display area (2) indicates the capacity or charge level of the power supply cells of the electrical shaving apparatus (1) clearly as a numerical value. Expediently, the electrical shaving apparatus (1) also has an electronic clock which is also connected to the digital display area (2) for indicating the time. Consequently, the user has the time displayed constantly directly in front of him even during shaving. <IMAGE>
