[origin: EP0389852A2] The laying of sensor wires (5, 34) on land-mines is preferably to be carried out by pyrotechnic transport means. Especially preferred is a rocket motor (7) or a projectile-like body (30) with a special firing device (31) on the mine. It is advantageous if the sensor wire (5) is wound on a reel body (9) which rotates during the laying. The pyrotechnic sensor-wire laying unit (6, 24) will be so attached to the mine that a start at 45 DEG in the upward direction is possible, whilst special articulated mechanisms (25) may be necessary to ensure that the sensor-wire laying units (24) installed horizontally in the mine for reasons of space can be pivoted in a direction favourable for firing. <IMAGE>
