The invention relates to a special thermosyphon and a special heat pipe which are provided for insertion into liquid or pasty media. Such instances of application exist, e.g., in the extraction of geothermal energy or waste heat from canals or else sewage works. If normal thermosyphons or heat pipes are immersed in water or sludge, the mass they displace is greater than their own weight, and they float. In such a case, either the installation cannot be performed, or in the case of a horizontal installation position the surface of the thermosyphon or of the heat pipe is not fully wetted. This produces a sharp reproduction in the amount of heat coupled in. The invention makes available a special thermosyphon and a special heat pipe in the case of which this problem is eliminated owing to integrated ballast. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft einen speziellen Thermosyphon und ein spezielles Wärmerohr, welche für die Einbringung in flüssige oder pastöse Medien vorgesehen sind. Derartige Anwendungsfälle bestehen z.B. bei der Gewinnung von Erdwärme oder Abwärme aus Kanälen oder auch Klärwerken. Werden normale Thermosyphone oder Wärmerohre in Wasser oder Schlamm eingetaucht, so macht die von ihnen verdrängte Masse mehr aus als ihr Eigengewicht, und sie schwimmen auf. In einem solchen Fall ist entweder der Einbau nicht zu bewerkstelligen, oder bei einer horizontalen Einbaulage die Oberfläche des Thermosyphons oder des Wärmerohrs nicht vollständig benetzt. Dadurch ist die Wärmeeinkopplung stark reduziert. Mit der Erfindung wird ein spezieller Thermosyphon und ein spezielles Wärmerohr (1) zur Verfügung gestellt, bei welchen aufgrund von integriertem Ballast (3) dieses Problem beseitigt ist.
