[origin: WO8905950A1] A drying plant for drying vegetable and mineral materials, comprising a drying section (4) in essential longitudinally placed and rotatable about its longitudinal axis, and through which heated air is led. For conveying the material in the drying section, direction plates (40) are arranged which have or can be arranged in an inclined position in relation to the longitudinal axis of the drying section (4). At an embodiment of the drying section (4) a hollow bearing axle (46) is placed centrally in the drying section (4), into which a rod (41) is placed on to which the direction plates (40) are arranged. Hereby an expedient arrangement of the direction plates is achieved, likewise adjusting of the angle position is simplified. Besides adjusting the velocity of material through the drying section according to its physical properties, the arrangement of direction plates in the drying section will cause greater turbulence of the drying air than by known plants, and the material will be in contact with the heated faces of the plates, both conditions increasing the drying of the material.

Une installation de séchage, servant au séchage de légumes et de matières minérales, comprend une section de séchage (4) qui est disposée en général longitudinalement et en rotation autour de son axe longitudinal et à travers laquelle est acheminé de l'air chauffé. Pour transporter le matériau dans la section de séchage, on utilise des plaques de direction (4) qui sont ou peuvent être disposées dans une position inclinée par rapport à l'axe longitudinal de la section de séchage (4). Dans un mode de réalisation de la section de séchage (4), un essieu porteur creux (46) est placé au centre dans la section de séchage (4), une tige (41) sur laquelle sont disposées les plaques de direction (40) étant placées dans ledit essieu. On obtient ainsi un agencement avantageux des plaques de direction et en même temps le réglage de la position angulaire est simplifié. Outre le réglage de la vitesse du matériau à travers la section de séchage selon ses propriétés physiques, l'agencement des plaques de direction dans la section de séchage produit des turbulences dans l'air de séchage supérieures aux turbulences obtenues avec les installations connues et le matériau se trouve en contact avec les faces chauffées des plaques, ces deux conditions améliorant le séchage du matériau.
