[origin: EP0390965A1] A device serves for the fastening of barriers used in avalanche-protection and anti-slip structures. It comprises a barrier shoe (23) with a receiving recess which partially encloses a barrier in the supporting direction. Furthermore, there are fastening points (5, 6) for the connection of ground-fastening anchors which make it possible for the barrier shoe (23) to be held at a distance from the ground. As a result of this mounting of the barrier, ground terraces which are otherwise required for supporting the barriers and which have a correspondingly harmful effect on the top soil are avoided.
