Abstract (en)

[origin: JPH03111377A] PURPOSE: To maintain suitable yarn tension by increasing the rotational speed of a spindle supporting a full bobbin package until yarn is transferred to the other spindle after contact of the full bobbin package formed on the spindle and a contact roller is interrupted in the bobbin changing operation. CONSTITUTION: When the time T1 in which only a control unit 44 perform an open loop control function related to a spindle driving means 14A passes after a control loop extending through a contact roller is interrupted by the interruption of the normal winding operation, a motor 14A and a spindle supporting a full bobbin package are slightly accelerated by the control, the effective winding speed is increased, and yarn tension is maintained. Simultaneously, a contact roller motor 24a is also accelerated by the control unit 44 for the same purpose. After the short acceleration, the rotational speed of the contract roller is again stabilized to the high level. The motor 14A continues acceleration to stretch the yarn after the increase of the rotational speed of the contact roller is finished.
