[origin: EP0391266A1] In a heat exchanger (1) having two manifolds (2a, 2b) which are provided parallel to one another, side-by-side, and are connected to one another via a profiled tube matrix, the manifolds (2a, 2b) consist of a plurality of manifold sections (10, 11), which are sealingly aligned axially behind one another, and a support frame (7) arranged outside the manifolds (2a, 2b) is provided on which the manifold sections (10, 11) are mounted individually at one of their tube ends in each case.
