[origin: EP0391298A2] In an injection moulded connector, with a protective contact, for electrical apparatuses which can be connected to a mains socket, having an essentially U-shaped connector bridge for holding an earthing tongue with a hollow-cylindrical connecting socket for the protection lead of a consumer line, an insertion funnel with a conical perforating hole being allocated to this connecting socket, this insertion funnel is constructed on an L-shaped moulded part (21) which stands proud of the flat base plate of the connector bridge (1) and overhangs the connecting socket (19). In this way, a connector bridge is produced which is optimised in production terms to the extent that the cooling times for the moulded part are reduced as a result of less material being used. <IMAGE>
