Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a method and a device for cleaning workpieces, in particular vehicle windows (2), in order to prepare them for subsequent treatment processes such as coating with adhesive etc. The cleaning process (1) contains a wiping element in the form of a cleaning belt (10) which is moved in relation to the workpiece (2). The cleaning belt is guided in a loop (12) between two spools (13,14) and brought into contact with the workpiece (2), the cleaning belt (10) being unwound in sections and in clocked fashion between or during the cleaning processes. For this purpose, an additional loop (44) is formed in the region of the loop (12) and fresh belt material is thereby pulled off the supply spool (13). Subsequently, the additional loop (44) is reformed, the used belt material is transported to the used material spool (14). <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum Reinigen von Werkstücken, insbesondere Fahrzeugscheiben (2) zur Vorbereitung für sich anschließende Behandlungsvorgänge, wie Klebstoffbeschichten etc.. Die Reinigungsvorrichtung (1) beinhaltet ein Wischelement in Form eines Reinigungsbandes (10), das relativ zum Werkstück (2) bewegt wird. Das Reinigungsband wird in einer Schlaufe (12) zwischen zwei Wickeln (13,14) geführt und mit dem Werkstück (2) in Kontakt gebracht, wobei das Reinigungsband (10) zwischen oder während den Reinigungsvorgängen abschnittweise und getaktet abgewickelt wird. Hierzu wird im Bereich der Schlaufe (12) eine zusätzliche Schleife (44) ausgeformt und dabei frisches Bandmaterial vom Vorratswickel (13) abgezogen. Anschließend wird die Schleife (44) wieder zurückgebildet, wobei das verbrauchte Bandmaterial zum Verbrauchswickel (14) transportiert wird.
