[origin: EP0391356A2] A method for preparation of light sensitive silver halide emulsion and a photographic material containing thereof are disclosed. The method comprises a step of adding to a first silver halide emulsion a second silver halide emulsion containing a silver halide grain having halide composition and a Bravais lattice that are different from those of a silver halide grain of the first silver halide emulsion, and an aqueous silver salt solution and an aqueous halide solution. The resulted silver halide emulsion is suitable to provide a high-speed photographic material having a good grainess and being capable of rapid processing.
