The invention relates to a portable blasting machine (1) for the abrasive blasting of essentially perpendicular wall surfaces. The blasting machine (1) has a frame (21) defining the surface (17) to be treated, and a centrifugal wheel (7) which is arranged in the intended working position of the machine below the surface (17) to be treated and from which a centrifugal channel (5) is directed up at an angle towards the surface (17) to be treated, and a return channel (19) which is directed up at an angle away from this surface and leads into a separating device from which the blasting medium passes by force of gravity into a collecting container and from there back into the centrifugal wheel (7), the surface (17) to be treated being sealed off from the surrounding area by magnetic strips and additional sealing lips (47; 49) and lateral sealing elements (25) so that a considerable vacuum is produced on the surface (17) to be treated. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft ein tragbares Schleuderstrahlgerät (1) für das Abstrahlen von im wesentlichen senkrechten Wandflächen. Das Schleuderstrahlgerät (1) weist einen die Bearbeitungsfläche (17) umgrenzenden Rahmen (21) und ein in vorgesehener Arbeitsstellung des Gerätes unterhalb der Bearbeitungsfläche (17) angeordnetes Schleuderrad (7) auf, von dem aus ein Schleuderkanal (5) schräg nach oben zur Bearbeitungsfläche (17) gerichtet ist und einen von dieser Fläche schräg nach oben weggerichteter Rückführkanal (19), der in eine Abscheideeinrichtung mündet, aus der heraus das Strahlmittel durch Schwerkraft in einen Sammelbehälter und von dort zurück in das Schleuderrad (7) gelangt, wobei die Bearbeitungsfläche (21) mit Magnetleisten und zusätzlichen Dichtlippen (49; 49) und seitlichen Dichtelementen (25) gegenüber der Umgebung abgedichtet ist, sodaß auf der Bearbeitungsfläche (21) ein beträchtlicher Unterdruck erzeugt wird. <IMAGE>
