Abstract (en)
An article comprising compressed particles of polyolefin microfibers (14,16) is provided. The article has a solidity of at least 20% and is particularly suitable as a container (10) for shipping and storing hazardous liquid materials or a cryogenic container. A covering of shrinkable thermoplastic film (20) is provided around the compressed polyolefin microfibers.
