Abstract (en)
The vacuum induction furnace contains a metal crucible (5), provided with cooling, which is surrounded by an induction coil (6). In the lower part of the crucible (5) there is located a coolable base (19) as a holder of the metal melt. A housing (2) of a hermetically sealed chamber is connected to the crucible (5), the cover (3) of which chamber is fitted with a drive (13) for rotation about its centre axis. A seal (4) is arranged between the cover (3) and the housing (2). Technological devices (7 to 11) for conducting and monitoring the melting process are fitted on the cover (3) on a circle whose radius (r) corresponds to the lateral distance between the centre axes of the crucible (5) and of the cover (3). <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Der Vakuuminduktionsofen enthält einen mit einer Kühlung versehenen Metalltiegel (5), der von einer Induktionsspule (6) umgeben ist. Im unteren Teil des Tiegels (5) befindet sich ein kühlbarer Untersatz (19) als Halterung der Metallschmelze. Mit dem Tiegel (5) ist ein Gehäuse (2) einer hermetisch dichten Kammer verbunden, deren Deckel (3) mit einem Antrieb (13) zur Drehung um seine Mittelachse ausgestattet ist. Zwischen dem Deckel (3) und dem Gehäuse (2) ist eine Dichtung (4) angeordnet. Am Deckel (3) sind auf einem Kreis, dessen Radius (r) dem seitlichen Abstand zwischen den Mittelachsen des Tiegels (5) und des Deckels (3) entspricht, technologische Einrichtungen (7 bis 11) zur Führung und Überwachung des Schmelzvorgangs angebracht.
