There is provided a fin-stabilised projectile which combines the advantages of conventional armour-piercing projectiles with the advantages of guidable projectiles and which thus allows a compensation of ballistic errors and target movements during the flight time of the projectile, without the need for a direct connection between the projectile and a control unit in an armoured vehicle. The spin-stabilised projectile (10) according to the invention is flight-stabilised by tail-unit fins (14) and contains in its projectile tip (22) a sensor unit (16) and a warhead (18) arranged behind the latter and having a spherical plate (20). The projectile (10) is rotated about its vertical axis shortly before it reaches a target (24), the entire projectile tip (22), including the sensor unit (16), is blown off, and the warhead (18) now pointing with the spherical plate (20) at the target (24) is initiated. <IMAGE>

Es wird ein flügelstabilisiertes Geschoß vorgeschlagen, das die Vorteile üblicher Panzergeschosse mit den Vorteilen lenkbarer Geschosse kombiniert und so einen Ausgleich ballistischer Fehler und Zielbewegungen während der Flugzeit des Geschosses ermöglicht, ohne daß eine direkte Verbindung zwischen dem Geschoß und einer Steuereinheit in einem Panzerfahrzeug erforderlich ist. Das erfindungsgemäße flügelstabilisierte Geschoß (10) wird durch Leitwerkflügel (14) flugstabilisiert und enthält in seiner Geschoßspitze (22) eine Sensoreinheit (16) und einen dahinter angeordneten Gefechtskopf (18) mit einer Kugelplatte (20). Das Geschoß (10) wird kurz vor einem Ziel (24) um seine Hochachse gedreht und die gesamte Geschoßspitze (22) inklusive der Sensoreinheit (16) abgesprengt und der nunmehr mit der Kugelplatte (20) zum Ziel (24) weisende Gefechtskopf (18) initiiert.
