The invention proposes a glow plug for arrangement in the combustion chamber of a diesel internal-combustion engine, designed in particular for an operating voltage of 24 volts. In order to be able to handle without problems the unstable resistance coils (heating coil 9 and regulating coil 10) contained in the glow plug and, in particular, in order to make possible automatic assembly of the heating body on conventional production lines, an additional resistance coil (11) with a constant resistance is provided between the connection stud (6) and the regulating coil (10), leading to a lowering of the resistances of the heating and regulating coils and hence to an increase in the cross-section of these wires. <IMAGE>

Es wird eine Glühstiftkerze zur Anordnung im Verbrennungsraum einer Dieselbrennkraftmaschine vorgeschlagen, die insbesondere für eine Betriebsspannung von 24 Volt ausgelegt ist. Um die in der Glühstiftkerze enthaltenen labilen Widerstandswendeln (Heizwendel 9 und Regelwendel 10) problemloser handhaben zu können und insbesondere um eine automatische Montage des Heizkörpers auf herkömmlichen Fertigungsstraßen zu ermöglichen, ist zwischen dem Anschlußbolzen (6) und der Regelwendel (10) eine zusätzliche Widerstandswendel (11) mit konstantem Widerstand vorgesehen, was zu einer Erniedrigung der Widerstände der Heiz- und Regelwendel und damit zu einer Querschnittsvergrößerung dieser Drähte führt.
