[origin: EP0392196A1] In a filling-level monitoring device for a supply and dispensing unit for washing or rinsing agents, the container filling levels (TF) at which a signalling device responds in order to indicate the need for replenishing a washing or rinsing agent each correspond to a residual filling quantity (RFM) in each container (BV,BF,BW,BB) which is sufficient for at most five doses of the same agent, each of at most 120 ml. This gives a request for replenishment some degree of urgency, and therefore the attendant will fill up the particular container as soon as possible while inconvenience will be avoided.
