[origin: EP0392231A2] A control device for a rotary piston compressor contains a housing (2) and a pressure chamber (6) into which a duct (26) opens. The duct (26) can be connected in particular to a return line (28), which opens into an inlet chamber (4). The object is to be able to predefine the pressure characteristic by simple means at little manufacturing expense. It is proposed that the duct (26) be connected to a housing section (20) which has a rotary slide valve (22) with at least one recess (24, 25, 27). The duct (26) can be connected with a pilot inlet (30) and/or with the return line (28) via this recess (24, 25, 27) according to the angular position of the rotary slide valve (22). <IMAGE>
