[origin: EP0392478A1] A device for packaging grouped individual packages by supplying packaging blanks, in particular cardboard blanks, from a magazine and then wrapping the individual packaging group with the blank in at least one further processing station comprises a common turntable (10), to which the individual packaging groups (20) to be wrapped are supplied and removed, and also to which the respectively appropriate packaging blanks (13) are supplied, so that, by means of further forming devices (15, 16) arranged on the turntable (10), the single packages (20) supplied are wrapped with the packaging blanks (13) supplied and can be removed again. A particular advantage consists in the fact that it is possible rapidly to change over the device to another packaging type by arranging a plurality of magazines (12) with packaging blanks (13) in the circumferential region of the common turntable (10), so that the same device can rapidly be converted to another packaging type and is able to operate with high operating cycles. Since all the components which operate towards the turntable can be arranged in the immediate vicinity thereof, at the side and also above the turntable, the device has an extremely small overall length and is very compact. <IMAGE>
