[origin: WO8903008A1] The present invention relates to the generation of a refrigerated gas flow from a mass of refrigerating material in solid or liquid condition by sublimating or vaporizing in a sealed vaporization housing (4) said refrigerating material (7), and the pressure gas flow thus produced is used as entrainment flow (9) for a flow of gas to be refrigerated through a gas ejector (9) of the venturi type. The installation according to the invention is characterized in that the outlet of the ejector (9) is connected to a conduit (10) of which the length runs into the refrigerated housing, said conduit comprising throughout its length outlet orifices consisting of nozzles (11) which distribute the refrigerated gas flow into the volume of said refrigerated housing and which provide for the mixing of the air contained in said housing by the gas jets coming out of the nozzles. The invention is particularly applicable to refrigerated trolleys for meals served on board aircrafts.
