Abstract (en)
To prevent the formation of continuous cracks (5,5a) from the outside to the throughflow opening (1) in a refractory valve plate (A), stress-relieving cavities (4) are provided around the said opening. These cavities are provided, if required, with a sealing material preventing outside air from being drawn in as far as the throughflow opening (1) through cracks (5,5a) which have arisen.

In einer feuerfesten Verschlussplatte (A) sind zur Verhinderung einer durchgehenden Rissbildung (5, 5a) von aussen bis zur Durchflussöffnung (1) um diese herum spannungsentlastende Hohlräume (4) vorgesehen, die gegebenenfalls mit einem Dichtungsmittel versehen ein Ansaugen von Aussenluft durch entstandene Risse (5, 5a) bis zur Durchflussöffnung (1) verhindert.
