Gegenstand der Erfindung sind ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur positionsabhängigen Betätigung mindestens eines Organs (4) in einem Fahrzeug (1). Mit einem im Fahrzeug (1) angeordneten Detektor (2) wird in der jeweiligen Fahrzeugpositions das Auftreten einer für mindestens eine Bestimmungsposition typischen Meldung überwacht. Bei Feststellung der Meldung wird das Organ (4) aktiviert.
