Abstract (en)
In an electric range with heating-air circulation, optimum cooking is achieved when the flow speed and the air temperature are as uniform as possible in the region of the product to be cooked. This can be achieved by a uniform distribution of the hot-air flow in the baking muffle of the electric range. It is therefore proposed to arrange in at least one corner of the baking muffle a cross-flow fan, the fan drum of which extends across the entire width of the baking muffle. <IMAGE>

In einem Elektroherd mit Heißluftumwälzung wird dann eine optimale Garung erreicht, wenn die Strömungsgeschwindigkeit und die Lufttemperatur im Bereich des Gargutes möglichst gleichmäßig ist. Dies kann durch eine gleichmäßige Verteilung des Warmluftstromes in der Backmuffel des Elektroherdes erreicht werden. Es ist deshalb vorgeschlagen, in wenigstens einer Ecke der Backmuffel einen Querstromlüfter anzuordnen, dessen Lüfterwalze sich über die gesamte Breite der Backmuffel erstreckt.
