[origin: EP0394218A1] For a curtain exchange system having a bar and an internal slidable sleeve which is inserted in a curtain rail, a particular design of internal slidable sleeve is proposed. The curtain rail consists essentially of a slotted box profile, the slot (15) of which has a widening (11) for insertion of the internal slidable sleeve. Like the curtain rail, the internal slidable sleeve has running surfaces (5), between which there is a slot (10). Furthermore, it has support surfaces (4), with which it is supported on the running surfaces (13) of the curtain rail when it has been inserted therein. According to the invention, the running surfaces (5) and the support surfaces (4) of the internal slidable sleeve are arranged in one plane offset laterally relative to one another. A continuous running surface thus results for the curtain slides and a secure fit for the internal slidable sleeve. Furthermore, a bar head which is adapted to the internal slidable sleeve is described. <IMAGE>
