[origin: WO8905217A1] The present invention includes a robot wrist actuator (10) having a cylindrical housing (12) with first and second housing wall portions (22, 24) coaxially disposed with respect to each other. First and second gimbal assemblies (14, 16) are included within the housing (12) for pitch and yaw movement and are rotatably mounted to the housing. First and second linkages connect the first and second gimbal assemblies (14, 16) such that movement is transmitted from one gimbal assembly to another.
