[origin: WO9003205A1] A ski (1) has a running sole (2) and a hollow ski body (3) whose height normal to the running sole (2) varies along the length of the ski (1). The ski body is constructed as a hollow body (3) with mutually parallel side edges (4, 5) which run in the longitudinal direction of the ski. The width (B) of the ski body is less than or equal to the smallest width of the running sole (2) perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the ski.
