[origin: EP0394762A2] The increased magenta fog arising in a colour-photographic recording material when pyrazoloazole couplers are used, is reduced if simultaneously a compound of one of the formulae II and III is used: <IMAGE> in which: R<4> is alkyl, alkoxy, aryl, amino or acylamino, R<5> is alkyl, R<6> is alkyl, alkoxy, aryl or a heterocyclic group, R<7> is alkyl, aryl or a heterocyclic group, or R<5> together with R<6> forms a radical for completing a 5- or 6-membered ring, V is -CN, -CF3, -SO3H, alkylsulphonyl, sulphamoyl or acylamino, W is halogen, alkyl or alkoxy, s is an integer from 1 to 3 and t is 0 or an integer from 1 to 4, with the proviso that s + t </= 5.
