Abstract (en)
The intention is to provide a new design for an arc-type continuous casting plant for billet and sheet-bar strands, the said design allowing the arc-type continuous casting plant to be transported easily in the workshop-assembled condition and set down on a foundation in the casting position. This is achieved by the fact that the continuous casting mould (2) with its oscillation guide (11), the withdrawal and straightening assembly (5), the rigid dummy bar (6) with its guiding and moving arrangement (7 and 7') for in each case one strand is constructed as a self-supporting module and can be set down at the pouring station as an assembled and aligned modular unit. <IMAGE>

Für eine Bogenstranggiessanlage für Knüppel- und Platinenstränge soll ein neues Konzept geschaffen werden, das es erlaubt, die Stranggiessanlage in werkstattmontiertem Zustand leicht zu transportieren und in Giessposition auf ein Fundament abzustellen. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, dass die Durchlaufkokille (2) mit ihrer Oszillationsführung (11), das Treibrichtaggregat (5), der starre Anfahrstrang (6) mit seiner Führungs- und Bewegungseinrichtung (7, bzw. 7') für jeweils eine Strangader als ein sich selbsttragendes Modul aufgebaut und als zusammengesetzte und ausgerichtete Moduleinheit am Giessplatz abstellbar ist.
