[origin: JPH0395056A] PURPOSE: To enable the operation under the environment of a clean room by providing a means for generating an electromagnetic coupling magnetic field between a hub element and a core support on a torque-transmission device so as to sufficiently transmit torque from the hub element to the core support. CONSTITUTION: A torque-transmission device for transmitting torque from a reel shaft 1 to a reel core 2 is provided with a sliding hub element 4 arranged on the reel shaft 1, and a core support 6 to be slid in the reel core 2 and attached on the reel core 2 in the rotational and axial direction. This torque- transmission device is arranged along the radial direction between the reel shaft 1 and the reel core 2, and the hub element 4 is attached on the reel shaft 1 along the axial direction. Moreover, the torque-transmission device is provided with means (permanent magnets) 18 to 23 for generating an electromagnetic coupling field between the hub element 4 and the core support 6 for sufficiently transmitting torque between respective members.
