[origin: EP0395465A1] The tamper-evident ring (28) has, on its inner face and in the vicinity of its free edge, projections (36) formed by a short section of the screw threads (35) extending over the skirt (26) of the cap (25), the said projections interacting in order to prevent unscrewing of the cap, - for as long as the tamper-evident ring remains attached to the skirt -, with notches which are identical in number to the projections and are provided on the lateral face of the jar or the like. <IMAGE>
