[origin: JPH02293417A] PURPOSE: To facilitate the partial or total exchange or mending of a working point by positioning card clothing segments on a principal structure of a cylinder in a state in parallel to each other to form a cylindrical form. CONSTITUTION: A drum-shaped principal structure 12 is surrounded by a pair of half-split shells 14 and a card clothing made of wire 18 is formed on the surface of the half-split shells. The mending of a damaged area or the exchange of total working point can be carried out without removing a cylinder roller 10.

Eine Arbeitsspitzen aufweisende Zylinderwalze für eine Textilmaschine, beispielsweise Vorreißer, Tambour oder Abnehmer einer Karde oder Reinigungswalze einer Putzereimaschine, zeichnet sich dadurch aus, daß die Zylinderwalze aus einer Grundstruktur (12) und auf dieser angebrachten, die Arbeitsspitzen (18) aufweisenden Garnitursegmenten (14) besteht, welche eine regelmäßige geometrische Form aufweisen, die in einer sich wiederholenden, die Zylinderform ergebenden Anordnung nebeneinanderliegend auf der Grundstruktur (12) an dieser befestigbar sind.
