[origin: EP0396209A2] A door or hinged window has a hinge (100) with one lug (1) fixed to the door post, or fixed window frame (3), and a second lug (4) fixed to the door (6), or window leaf frame. The two lugs are connected by a hinge pin (50), which is fixed to the second lug but can be positionally adjusted. The second lug has an elongated hole to receive the hinge pin, which has integrally formed teeth engaged by an adjusting screw for the position of the hinge pin in the hole. A locking screw holds the hinge pin in its required position.
