Abstract (en)
In order to minimise possible air bubbles in the oil of the inner reservoir of a hydraulic tappet, there is provided an oil supply duct extending from the outer to the inner reservoir. Accordingly, an upwardly inclined communication (26) extends from below and from the outer to the inner face of the annular wall or inner collar (20) separating the outer reservoir (14,16,22) from the receiving seat (32) for the inner reservoir. The vertical projecting part is provided in such wall or collar, and an insert (28) is interposed, which always acts as a base for the outer reservoir; and can act in another variant also as a guide (44) for the telescopically moving parts.
