The invention relates to a method and an arrangement for identifying railway vehicles (4) by means of at least one induction loop (2) which is arranged in the course of the track (1) and is part of an oscillator circuit whose change of the oscillator frequency (f) is detected as a function of time (t) in the form of a curve (K1, K2) and evaluated in an associated circuit (3) with respect to the properties, such as in particular maximum values, minimum values, points of inflexion and gradients, characterising the travelling dynamics of the rail vehicles (4). In order also to detect rail vehicles (4) equipped with magnetic brakes (6) and to be able correctly to evaluate curves (K2) which have been changed by magnetic fields generated by the rail vehicle (4) and are derived from the induction loop (2), the electrommagnetic forces (emf) generated on the basis of moving magnetic fields are detected in a measuring device (7 and 8) provided in addition to the induction loop (2) and are taken into account during evaluation. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Anordnung zur Erkennung von Schienenfahrzeugen (4) mittels mindestens einer im Gleisverlauf (1) angeordneten Induktionsschleife (2), die Teil eines Oszillatorkreises ist, dessen Änderung der Oszillatorfrequenz (f) in Abhängigkeit von der Zeit (t) in Form einer Kurve (K1, K2) erfaßt und hinsichtlich der die Fahrdynamik der Schienenfahrzeuge (4) kennzeichnenden Eigenschaften, wie insbesondere Maxima, Minima, Wendepunkte und Steigungen in einer zugeordneten Schaltung (3) ausgewertet wird. Um auch mit Magnetbremsen (6) ausgestattete Schienenfahrzeuge (4) erkennen und durch vom Schienenfahrzeug (4) erzeugte Magnetfelder veränderte, von der Induktionsschleife (2) ermittelte Kurven (K2) ordnungsgemäß auswerten zu können, werden die aufgrund bewegter Magnetfelder erzeugten elektromagnetischen Kräfte (EMK) in einer zusätzlich zur Induktionsschleife (2) vorgesehenen Meßeinrichtung (7 bzw. 8) erfaßt und bei der Auswertung berücksichtigt.
