[origin: EP0397157A2] The invention relates to a clamp-buckle for ski shoes, with a baseplate which is U-shaped in cross-section and in the two legs of which a buckle lever is mounted pivotably, which can be pivoted between an open and a closed position and which is connected to a cylinder, the shaft of which runs parallel to the lever shaft. In a transverse bore of the cylinder, there is a screw, to which the end of a cable is fastened. The cylinder can, in the longitudinal direction of the buckle lever, be adjusted into at least two positions in relation to the lever shaft. In order, in this clamp-buckle, to protect the connection point between the cable and the screw from damage, the invention envisages that the buckle lever (5), which as known per se likewise has a U- shaped cross-section, receives in its two legs (5b) the bearings for the shaft (6) of the cylinder (7). <IMAGE>
