[origin: EP0397293A2] The invention relates to a fixing rail for sheets with trapezoidal corrugations for structural engineering, having anchors 4 attached to the legs 2 of the rail 1 of U-shaped cross-section. To obtain a connection, which is simple in terms of manufacture, between fixing rail 1 and anchor 4 together with high connection strength, provision is made according to the invention for the legs 2 of the rail 1 to have longitudinal slots 3, for the anchors 4 formed from metal strips 5 to be provided at the fixing end 6 with two short notches 7 extending in the longitudinal direction of the metal strip 6 and forming three lugs 8, 9, and for the inner, central lug 8 to be bent perpendicularly to the plane of the metal strip 6, be inserted through the associated longitudinal slot 3 of the leg 2 of the rail 1 and bent round on the other side of the leg 2 so that the two outer lugs 9 bear on one side and the inner, central lug 8 bears on the other side of the leg 2. <IMAGE>
