Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0398035A2] The invention relates to a coke oven door with an elastic sealing diaphragm (2) which is fastened to the door body (1), preferably so as to adjustable in the longitudinal direction of the oven, the free leg of which sealing diaphragm (2) carries the encircling spring-loaded sealing element (13) coming to bear on the door frame. According to the invention, the sealing element (13) is pressed against the door frame (3) with the aid of leaf springs (8), (8a) fastened to the door body (1) so as to be adjustable in the longitudinal direction of the oven. <IMAGE>
