Abstract (en)

In a furniture item, the corner door (5) is articulated by means of a hinge (6) so that the edge surface of the door (5), in the region of the associated corner, adjoins the carcass of the furniture item in such a manner as to cover approximately the whole surface thereof. To this end, this edge surface lies, in cross-section, obliquely to the plane of the door, and it is also overlapped by the associated hinge part (15). The associated edge surface (13) of the adjoining carcass wall (2) which in the closed state is substantially completely overlapped by the inside (8) of the door (5), is also correspondingly oblique. As a result, the door can, in a simple manner, lie against the outside of the carcass of the furniture item and screen the latter substantially completely. <IMAGE>

Abstract (de)

Bei einem Möbel ist die Eck-Tür (5) mit einem Scharnier (6) so angelenkt, daß die Tür (5) im Bereich der zugehörigen Ecke mit ihrer Kantenfläche annähernd ganzflächig deckend an den Möbelkorpus anschließt. Dazu liegt diese Kantenfläche im Querschnitt schräg zur Türebene und sie ist außerdem von dem zugehörigen Scharnierteil (15) überdeckt. Entsprechend schräg ist auch die zugehörge Kantenfläche (13) der anschließenden Korpuswand (2), die im Schließzustand von der Innenseite (8) der Tür (5) im wesentlichen vollständig überdeckt wird. Dadurch kann die Tür in einfacher Weise an der Außenseite des Möbelkorpus anschlagen und diese im wesentlichen vollständig abdecken.
