The invention discloses a universal bending apparatus comprising a baseplate with a die support arranged on the baseplate, on cantilever trusses, in a manner corresponding to the contour and forming plane of the profile to be bent, the profile to be bent being bent in the manner of a bending form around a profile support projecting from the die support by means of forming rollers. <??>To allow universal application of the bending apparatus without the necessity for complicated alterations to bending dies, provision is made for the cantilever trusses to be arranged in a manner which allows adjustment and setting on the baseplate and furthermore for clamping elements to be provided on the cantilever trusses, the said clamping elements clamping the die support and at the same time bearing the die support and being vertically adjustable as desired.

Beschrieben wird ein Universal-Biegewerkzeug, bestehend aus einer Basisplatte (1) mit einem entsprechend der Kontur und Formebene des zu biegenden Profils (21) an der Basisplatte an Konsolträgern (2) angeordneten Formträger (3), wobei das zu biegende Profil nach Art einer Biegeschablone (36) um einen vom Formträger abragenden Profilträger (4) herum mittels Formrollen gebogen wird. Zum universellen Einsatz des Biegewerkzeugs, ohne daß umständliche Änderungen von Biegeformen notwendig werden, ist es vorgesehen, daß an der Basisplatte (1) die Konsolträger (2) verstellbar und einstellbar angeordnet sind und weiterhin an den Konsolträgern Spannelemente (33) vorgesehen sind, welche den Formträger (3) spannen und gleichzeitig den Profilträger (4) tragen und in der Höhe beliebig verstellbar sind.
