[origin: EP0398790A1] Device for protecting and/or preserving an article made of expanded polystyrene or similar material, constituted by the assembly of at least two elements (e1) each having a portion shaped as a comb whose teeth (15) are provided with means which enable the two said elements to be joined together and maintained by simple bringing together and interlocking of one comb-like part of one element into the comb-like part of the other.
