The shoe (1) has an inner sole (2) made of wood which is divided at least twice, preferably four or five times in the region of the ball of the foot, a strip (12) of elastic material being provided in each case in the region of the joints (11) between the parts (13) of the inner sole (2), which strip is connected to the parts (13). A sole (5), which is attached to the inner sole (2) by bonding or being foamed on, has an upwardly projecting edge (7) which terminates flush with the upper side of the inner sole (2). An upper part (3) is connected to the inner sole (2), edge regions (10) of the upper part (3) being attached which are folded over onto the underside (9) of the inner sole (2). <IMAGE>

Ein Schuh (1) besitzt ein Fußbett (2) aus Holz, das im Ballenbereich wenigstens zweimal, vorzugsweise vier- oder fünfmal unterteilt ist, wobei im Bereich der Trennfugen (11) zwischen den Teilen (13) des Fußbettes (2) jeweils ein Streifen (12) aus elastischem Werkstoff vorgesehen ist, der mit den Teilen (13) verbunden ist. Eine am Fußbett (2) durch Kleben oder durch Anschäumen befestigte Sohle (5) weist einen nach oben vorstehenden Rand (7) auf, der bündig mit der Oberseite des Fußbettes (2) abschließt. Mit dem Fußbett (2) ist ein Oberteil (3) verbunden, wobei auf die Unterseite (9) des Fußbettes (2) umgeschlagene Randbereiche (10) des Oberteils (3) befestigt sind. <IMAGE>
