[origin: EP0399079A1] A process for superficially modifying release papers by addition of various organosiloxanes or organopolysiloxanes having at least three hydrogen atoms bound to silicon per molecule in proportions of about 5 to 10% (calculated as solid) to conventional surface preparations for release papers is described, whereby a substantial acceleration of crosslinking for the subsequent coating with solvent-containing or solvent-free addition-crosslinking silicone systems is achieved.
