Stretchers usually have lateral, longitudinally extending hollow sectional rails (1, 2) which are connected to each other by cross pieces (21, 22, 23). Feet (7 to 10), a reclining surface and a head and back support (13) are also provided. In addition, straps (31, 32) are attached to the hollow sectional rails (1, 2). The hollow sectional rails (1, 2) have a rectangular cross-section (41), the upper wall (43) being of reinforced design, and cylindrical grooves (46, 47) which are open towards the sides are provided on both long sides of this reinforcement. In order to permit easy cleaning of all parts of the stretcher and simplified adjustment to different stretcher dimensions, it is proposed that the long edges (52, 53) of the reclining surface be retained in the cylindrical grooves (47, 90), that the feet (7 to 10) engage into the grooves (47, 90) by means of strip-shaped projections (64) and are attached in such a manner as to be longitudinally displaceable and fixable, and that the outer ends of the straps (31, 32) are provided with piping sections (35 to 38) which are retained in the external cylindrical grooves (46, 88) in such a manner as to be longitudinally displaceable. <IMAGE>

Krankentragen weisen meist seitliche, längsverlaufende Hohlprofilholme (1, 2) die durch Quertraversen (21, 22, 23) miteinander verbunden sind. Ferner sind Füße (7 bis 10), eine Liegefläche und eine Kopf- und Rückenstütze (13) vorgesehen. Außerdem sind an den Hohlprofilholmen (1, 2) Haltegurte (31, 32) angebracht. Die Hohlprofilholme (1, 2) weisen einen rechteckigen Querschnitt (41) auf, wobei die obere Wandung (43) verstärkt ausgebildet ist und zu beiden Längsseiten dieser Verstärkung sind zylindrische nach den Seiten hin offene Rillen (46, 47) vorgesehen. Um eine leichte Reinigung aller Teile der Krankentrage und eine vereinfachte Umstellung auf unterschiedliche Tragenabmessungen zu ermöglichen, wird vorgeschlagen, daß die Längsränder (52, 53) der Liegefläche in den zylindrischen Rillen (47, 90) gehalten sind, daß die Füße (7 bis 10) mit leistenartigen Vorsprüngen (64) in die Rillen (47, 90) eingreifen und längsverschiebbar sowie feststellbar angebracht sind und daß die äußeren Enden der Haltegurte (31, 32) mit Kedern (35 bis 38) versehen sind, welche längsverschiebbar in den äußeren zylindrischen Rillen (46, 88) gehalten sind.
